Snowed In

I wasn't able to send out many updates lately because the signal couldn't make it through the 2 feet of snow we got.

Sadly, I did not take any pictures of Eloise in a snow bank. I think the pediatrician recommends that she be at least 6 weeks old before doing that.

Luckily, her older sister was ready to help shovel, and since her school has been closed for the last week, her schedule has been wide open.

Dr. Matilda also checked to make sure Eloise was still healthy after the big storm.

Ellie had a bit of a growth spurt the last week and is already getting pretty big. I'm interested to see what her weight will be at the next check-up. She's been rocking the tummy time lately.

Sadly, we're down to our last week with Hamee and Habee. They leave on Tuesday. Then, real life starts. Hamee is the master of getting Ellie to sleep. We'll certainly miss them.

Making Weight

Eloise had her two week check-up a week ago and she was slightly under her birth weight at 7 lbs, so the pediatrician was mildly concerned she wasn't gaining enough weight. She had also started sleeping six hour stretches at night, so we started waking her up to feed her. Friday morning, she had a follow up weigh-in and she was at 7 lbs 8 ozs, gaining over an ounce a day! So no more walking her up at night to feed.

Of course, last night, she decided to wake up multiple times anyway just to let us know not to get our hopes up.

And now that's it's day again, she's sleeping peacefully.

In somewhat related news, Matilda moved out of her toddler bed into a big girl bed.

She was also excited that Appa could fit in it as well, sort of.

Now Eloise can have Matilda's old crib...in a few months.

Hamee and Habee Arrive

The reinforcements arrived last week to help take care of Eloise (and the rest of us, too). Hamee and Habee arrived Thursday night, and Ellie has been quite happy to sleep on them. We've all been enjoying the good food as well.

So far Ellie has been pretty easy, at least compared to her older sibling. She sleeps a lot, something Matilda is not so fond of. We even have to wake her up at night to get her to eat.

Yeah, two isn't so bad...at least for now. Appa went back to work yesterday and still isn't looking like a zombie.

We even still bathe/shower both our children regularly.

All clean and happy.

We are excited to see the rest.

Baby and Boba

We took Eloise out for a quick shopping trip this afternoon. She took a nice nap in her SnapNGo stroller while we got boba and did some shopping.

First Photo Shoot

Eloise got her Anne Geddes on this morning. Here are some behind the scenes photos. Look for the final results back here in a couple weeks.
