Two Months Old

Eloise just turned two months old! Time is flying already. She's turning into a smiling chubster.

We had our pediatric appointment at 6 weeks, at which time she was 10 lbs 1.5 oz and 23. 25 inches long (although I found their measurement very suspect).

Some more pictures with the family from our California trip:

Great Grandparents

On our way back from Hawaii, we decided to extend our layover in LA a few days so Eloise could meet her two great-grandmothers, now 98 and 101 years old. The first stop was to visit Omma's grandmother.

Then, we visited Appa's grandmother. Eloise was very comfortable lying in her lap.

Hawaii

As mentioned before, we spent the last week and a half in Hawaii. We went to Oahu first for a few days and met up with Cousin Bradley (and Eemo and Ajee). Eloise has now slept in many beautiful places. Here she is at Hanauma Bay on Oahu:

Then, we said goodbye and went to the Big Island. At the Hilton Waikaloa resort, she slept while Matilda enjoyed the koi pond by the incredibly expensive Japanese restaurant.

Beautiful view of the surf...

Matilda watching the dolphins.

Sleeping while Matilda and Omma did stand-up paddling in the lagoon.

It started and finished all so quickly. Then, we got on the red eye home. Habee picked us all up at the airport and then the 3 ladies slept in the back (you'll have to trust me that Eloise slept too).

Life's a Beach

Eloise enjoying the view...just needs a Corona.

We came to Hawaii yesterday. Matilda and Eloise were so good on the plane. It was pretty amazing.

Today, Eloise got to go to the beach for the first time. Omma MacGyvered some shard for her with an umbrella and a pair of swim goggles.

Not too shabby...
Oh, look who else came? It's cousin Bradley!

More fun to come.

Just the Four of Us

We were very sad to see Hamee and Habee go on Tuesday. Reality started this week. That meant daddy is staying home with Eloise halftime as well now. So far, it's been a lot of sleeping,

I also managed to get her some good workout time in. Matilda was helping out with that in the morning before she left for school.

Last night, omma had an appointment, so it was just me and the girls, so I outsourced the photography duties to Matilda.

Not too bad. I won't mention the other 6 pictures she took. We're hanging in there. I don't feel like a total zombie yet. More good times to come. Late next week, we are heading to Hawaii. I'm hoping Matilda will take lots of good pictures.
